Stock id# 001 Canoes at Emerald Lake Early morning with calm waters reflecting over Emerald Lake. 5 minutes later the ripple that is just appearing at the top of the water covered the entire lake and my reflections were gone. Timing is so important.

This photograph was taken at sunrise from the view of well worn canoes overlooking the ten peaks at Lake Moraine, Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The interesting patterns on the bottom of the canoes are caused by years of gliding over the surface of riverbed rocks.
